Update on training plans for Subclass 407 training visa

VETASSESS has added two more occupations to its Subclass 407 Training Plans.

We are now accepting Subclass 407 Training Plan applications for the occupation of Occupational Health and Safety Adviser (ANZSCO Code 251312) and for Surveying or Spatial Science Technician (ANZSCO Code 312116).

Step 4

The training plans we prepare are modelled on the relevant occupational standards to support a 407 Visa application.

A Subclass 407 Training Visa enables someone to visit Australia for workplace-based training, to improve their skills for:

  • their current occupation
  • their area of tertiary study or field of expertise

Or for a professional development training program.

This is a temporary visa that enables the visa holder to visit Australia for up to two years to complete workplace-based training.

Applicants can apply from inside or outside Australia.
